澳洲悉尼大学校方代表来我校交流访问
5月22日，澳洲悉尼大学（USYD）校方代表一行两人来我校访问交流。我校国际合作处副处长严伟剑、国际商学院院长范徵、副院长李伟庆、文化与旅游学院代表等出席交流会。
悉尼大学（The University of Sydney）是一所公立研究型大学。2022年U.S. News世界大学排名第28位，2023年QS世界大学排名第41位，是砂岩学府、环太平洋大学联盟、澳大利亚八校联盟、亚太国际贸易教育暨研究联盟、英联邦大学协会、全球高校人工智能学术联盟、新工科教育国际联盟、全球管理教育联盟成员，也是AACSB、AMBA和EQUIS认证大学。
学校对悉尼大学（USYD）校方代表一行来访表示欢迎，并就外语师资培训、学生交流交换、硕士申请等进行了深入的交流与探讨。
交流会后，悉尼大学校方代表与我校学生进行了面对面的交流，全面介绍了悉尼大学在生活、学术以及就业等方面的情况，并对同学们提出的专业申请要求、留澳工作的限制条件等问题进行了专业的解答。
据悉，后续国际商学院升学指导办公室将邀请更多的海外院校来校访问与交流，为我校同学提供丰富的海外交流升学资讯和更优质的硕士升学路径和通道。
On 22nd May, two delegates from the University of Sydney (USYD) came to our university for a visit and exchange. Weijian Yan, Deputy Director of the International Cooperation Office, Zheng Fan, Dean of the School of International Business, Weiqing Li, Vice Dean of the School of International Business, and representatives from the School of Culture and Tourism attended the communication meeting.
The University of Sydney (USYD, or informally Sydney Uni) is an Australian public research university, Australia. USYD ranked 28th in the 2022 U.S. News World University Rankings, and 41st in the 2023 QS World University Rankings. It is a member of the Sandstone Universities, Association of Pacific Rim Universities, Group of Eight, the Asia-Pacific Consortium for International Trade Education and Research, the Association of Commonwealth Universities, Global AI Academic Alliance, New Engineering Education International Alliance, the Global Alliance for Management Education, and is an AACSB, AMBA and EQUIS accredited university.
With a warm welcome, our university leaders communicated in-depth with USYD delegates regarding foreign language teachers’ training, student exchange programs, and postgraduate applications.
Subsequently, USYD delegates held a face-to-face presentation with our students, introducing the life, academic and employment conditions at the University of Sydney and providing a favourable reply about the application requirements of specific majors and restrictions on staying and working in Australia.
It is learned that the College Counseling Office of the School of International Business will make efforts to invite more overseas institutions, providing us students with a wealth of information on overseas studies and high-quality pathways and channels for pursuing a master’s degree.
