【国际交流】澳洲纽卡斯尔大学校方代表来我校交流访问

秋阳杲杲,丹桂飘香,11月28日,澳洲纽卡斯尔大学副校长 Professor Sunny Yang,商学院副院长 Dr. Karen Hardley,国际合作办学经理Bret Sutcliffe,国际合作专员王杉杉女士等校方代表一行5人来我校访问交流。我校副校长柴改英,国际交流与合作处处长陶国霞,我院党委书记姚旻,副院长贾新明,国际项目负责人王烁等相关人员出席交流会。


我校对澳洲纽卡斯尔大学校方代表一行来访表示热烈欢迎,并就商科硕士学分项目、硕士预科项目、本硕连读项目、ELICOS语言中心项目、教师科研平台搭建、师生短期交流交换等进行了深入的交流与探讨。

同期,澳洲纽卡斯尔大学商学院副院长Dr. Karen Hardley为我院学生作了关于“经济全球化背景下社会责任的重要性及其实践”的主题讲座。讲座期间,我院教授和同学们与Dr. Karen Hardley积极互动,探讨了社会责任和商业伦理的重要性。

会后,我校领导邀请澳洲纽卡斯尔大学校方代表参加校园茶艺会,体验浙外校园文化和中国茶文化。

据悉, 澳洲纽卡斯尔大学 (The University of Newcastle)是澳大利亚领先的地方大学,在2024年QS世界大学排名中位于173名。其中,有15个学科全球排名前200强,以其高水平的教学质量和生动新颖的课程而闻名澳大利亚。

纽卡斯尔大学共4个校区,分别位于纽卡斯尔市中心、纽卡斯尔卡拉汉、悉尼和中央海岸。校园环境优美,学习氛围浓郁,同学们将会到体验到世界一流师资队伍的教学,享受各类先进教学设施带来的便利,和当地的学生一起学习生活,深入了解和感受澳大利亚的文化和生活方式。

未来,国际商学院 创业学院将积极开拓海外院校合作项目,引荐更多海外优质院校,为在校师生提供稳定、安全、优质的学术提升路径和通道。

On 28th November, a group of 5 representatives from the University of Newcastle, including Professor Sunny Yang (Pro Vice-Chancellor, Global Partnerships), Dr Karen Hardley (Director – International, Newcastle Business School), Professor Bret Sutcliffe (Transnational Education and Partnerships Manager), and Ms Shanshan Wang (Partnerships Officer) came to our University for a visit and exchange. ZISU leaders, including Vice President Gaiying Chai, Director of Department of International Cooperation and Exchanges Guoxia Tao, Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of International Business and the School of Entrepreneurship Min Yao, Vice President of the School of International Business and the School of Entrepreneurship Xinming Jia and Director of International Programs Shuo Wang, attended the exchange meeting.

With a warm welcome, our school leaders communicated in-depth with UoN delegates regarding the Credit Transfer Program, Pre-master Program, Fast Master's Degree Program, ELICOS Learning Center, the establishment of a platform for teachers' scientific research and short-term exchanges between faculties and students.

In the meantime, Dr Karen Hardley, the Director–International, Newcastle Business School, gave a lecture on "The Importance of Social Responsibility and its Practice in the Context of Economic Globalization" to the students of the School of International Business, during which she discussed with the professors of the ZISU School of International Business and students about the importance of social responsibility and business ethics.

After the meeting, our university leaders invited the UoN representatives to join the Tea Art Ceremony, to experience the campus culture of ZISU and promote Chinese tea culture.
